How to remove DOCX comments. A practical guide to local DOCX document processing.
Guide
How to remove DOCX comments This practical guide explains local document processing in a browser. The file stays on the device and the operation does not require an account or a server upload.
The key principle
DOCX is an OOXML package whose appearance depends on styles, fonts, sections and the layout engine. Layout preview and clean semantic content therefore serve different purposes. Review the compatibility report before saving the result.
Step by step
- Open the relevant tool in Dokument.
- Add a file or enter new document content.
- Review the document view, structure and warnings.
- Run the operation and download the new file.
- Open the result in Word or LibreOffice when the document has a complex layout.
Common limitations
Text boxes, SmartArt, equations, macros, tracked changes and floating images may require desktop software. The service does not execute macros or embedded objects and never changes the original file.
